There's no place like home for the Dayton Dust Devils, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Sparks by a score of 39-30 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dayton also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Dayton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ayisha Agee out in front who scored nine points along with five assists and five rebounds. Agee hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiley Mcgrew, who scored six points.
Dayton's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Sparks, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-3.
Dayton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Hug at 1:00 p.m. on December 16th. Hug is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Sparks won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Churchill County at 1:00 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Churchill County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Friday.
