The Centerpoint Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Mansfield Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Centerpoint was beaten by Bismarck 42-14. Centerpoint was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.
Despite their loss, Centerpoint saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Dustin Cox, who rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, was perhaps the best of all.
Meanwhile, Mansfield had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They strolled past Hackett with points to spare, taking the game 32-13.
Bismarck's win bumped their season record to 8-2 while Centerpoint's loss dropped theirs to 5-5.
