After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five contests, Travis finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Eastside Early College Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Rebels' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Travis' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for Eastside Early College, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

While Travis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
