The ITW David Speer Academy Pride's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Schurz Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on January 29th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, ITW David Speer Academy came up short against Niles North and fell 51-40.
The losing side was boosted by Miabella Collazo, who scored 18 points along with eight steals and two blocks. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Roshaunda Wilson, who scored eight points along with six blocks and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Schurz's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Chicago Academy 58-26. The game was a close 21-18 at the break, but unfortunately for Schurz it sure didn't stay that way.
The losing side was boosted by Rayonna Blount, who scored ten points.
ITW David Speer Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for Schurz, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.
