The Providence School Stallions and the Orlando Christian Prep Warriors squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Providence School Stallions had to settle for second. Providence School fell just short of Orlando Christian Prep by a score of 28-25. Providence School just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Despite the loss, Providence School still got an impressive performance from Mason Williams, who threw for 219 yards and a touchdown.
Orlando Christian Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avery Anderson led the charge by gaining 105 total yards and two touchdowns. Akeevin Anderson was in the mix too, providing Orlando Christian Prep with two touchdowns.
Providence School's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Orlando Christian Prep, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 10-1 record.
Providence School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Orlando Christian Prep will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
