The Kathleen Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season. They really took it to Sebring for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-10 win at home. The win was nothing new for Kathleen as they're now sitting on four straight.
Amaya Shaw was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with three steals. The game was her seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dariasia Pitts, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Kathleen's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for Sebring, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kathleen will take on Bartow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bartow is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Sebring, they will be playing at home against Hardee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hardee will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 574th, while Sebring is ranked 277th).
