The Prairiland Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tom Bean.
Leading Tom Bean to victory were Samantha Lind and Allie Hickman. Lind scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and four steals, while Hickman dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Lind is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Perkins, who scored four points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Prairiland has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Tom Bean, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.
Prairiland will head out on the road to face off against Cumby at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tom Bean and Bells will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bells is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
