Corbyn Clayton gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.

Clayton's strong effort led Pontotoc over Cleveland Central and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
