Bay Port has gone a perfect 9-0 against Sheboygan North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates will venture away from home to square off against the Golden Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Bay Port is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
Bay Port barely beat West De Pere the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pirates blew past the Phantoms 10-2 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Pirates have posted against the Phantoms since March 28, 2017.

Payton Dudra made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching eight innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Morgan VandenBrandon, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Hailey Montie was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs and one RBI.
Bay Port kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 10.8.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 20-7 to Mukwonago.
Bella Wagner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Ashworth, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
The victory made it two in a row for Bay Port and bumps their season record up to 5-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Sheboygan North, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.
Everything went Bay Port's way against Sheboygan North in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Bay Port made off with a 14-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
