The Cicero Prep Academy Centurions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Scottsdale Preparatory Academy. Cicero Prep Academy lost against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy in their previous head to head back in January of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 61-55 score last time.
It was another big night for Luke Morgan, who scored 35 points for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy.
Cicero Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Cicero Prep Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Superior at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Valley Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on December 1st.
