The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat in their matchups with Kongiganak: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat still got an impressive performance from Rehana Matthew, who scored 16 points. That was a full 55.2% of Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Timara Teeluk, who scored six points.
Kongiganak's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mariah Tinker, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Miller, who scored 13 points.
Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Kongiganak, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
