The Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Kings Christian Crusaders at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wonderful College Prep Academy is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Wonderful College Prep Academy lost to Woodlake at home by a decisive 44-29 margin.
Meanwhile, Kings Christian waltzed into their match on Saturday with 17 straight wins but they left with 18. They snuck past Strathmore with a 47-41 victory.
Kings Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Trey Brouwer, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks, and Ronnie Roche, who scored 23 points. Brouwer has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 18 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Deonte Reynolds, who scored five points along with three steals.
Wonderful College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Kings Christian, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.
Wonderful College Prep Academy was taken down by Kings Christian 95-11 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Wonderful College Prep Academy was down 47-8.
