Fort Cobb-Broxton is 7-1 against Carnegie since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. They beat Sterling by the very same score they won with last week: 55-49. Given Fort Cobb-Broxton's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Sterling is ranked 317th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carnegie to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jalen Wallace, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 assists. The game was Wallace's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Duane Cavaness was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Fort Cobb-Broxton strolled past Carnegie in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 59-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Cobb-Broxton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
