It was a good run, but the Odessa Ducks unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of St. Georges Tech by a score of 48-45. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Odessa has scored all season.
Emory Womack was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Shane Davis was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two steals.
Odessa's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-1. As for St. Georges Tech, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
Odessa will head out on the road to face off against William Penn at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Georges Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Concord at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
