Purcell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Smedley, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Jett Tyler, who scored a run and stole a base.
Harding Prep's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. As for Purcell, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
