Sevier County and Karns are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2015, but not for long. Both teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Sevier County is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Karns in Tennessee (Sevier County is ranked 41st, while Karns is ranked 199th).
Last Friday, Sevier County didn't have too much trouble with Morristown-Hamblen West on the road as they won 56-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sevier County.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Karns had to settle for a 52-50 defeat against Halls on Saturday.
Sevier County has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Karns, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Sevier County against Karns when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 71-42 victory. Will Sevier County repeat their success, or does Karns have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
