The Hillsborough Raiders won the last time they faced the Bayonne Bees, and things went their way on Thursday too. Hillsborough put the hurt on Bayonne with a sharp 61-40 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hillsborough.
Zion Harrison was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Losch, who scored 11 points.
Hillsborough's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Bayonne, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.
Hillsborough has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Scotch Plains-Fanwood at 1:00 p.m. on February 10th. As for Bayonne, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Shabazz at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th.
