Winooski is 9-1 against Richford since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Winooski Spartans will head out on the road to challenge the Richford Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Winooski will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Winooski can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 73-39 victory over Stowe at home.
Meanwhile, Richford unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Wednesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Williamstown. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Winooski pushed their record up to 13-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Richford, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-3.
Winooski opened the new year with a less-than-successful 58-50 loss to Richford. Can Winooski avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
