You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Clay on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Duval Charter Panthers out of the water with a 52-12 final score. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Clay got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Teaghan Moses out in front who posted eight points along with seven assists and six steals. Moses has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Layla Summers, who went 8-for-15 to rack up 16 points.

Clay smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups.

Clay's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points on average over those games. As for Duval Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

Coming up, Clay won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Global Outreach Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Devils are facing the Kodiaks at the right time seeing as the Kodiaks are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Duval Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
