Middle Creek has gone 8-2 against Green Hope recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Middle Creek Mustangs will challenge the Green Hope Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Middle Creek will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, everything went Middle Creek's way against Overhills as Middle Creek made off with a 7-1 win.

Middle Creek let Will Tobin and Mason Morin run wild. Tobin scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances, while Morin scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. Garrett Sladek was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.

Meanwhile, Green Hope was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged out Athens Drive 11-10.

The team relied heavily on Ryu Fukuyama, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was George Valent, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Green Hope always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Middle Creek pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Green Hope, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Middle Creek came out on top in a nail-biter against Green Hope in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 8-7. Will Middle Creek repeat their success, or does Green Hope have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
