The Ridgeview Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 76-34 defeat at the hands of Orange Park. While losing is never fun, Ridgeview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 689th, while Orange Park is ranked 210th).
Despite the loss, Ridgeview still got an impressive performance from JJ Moore, who scored seven points.
Ridgeview's loss was their 14th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Orange Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Clay the next time they take the court. Ridgeview will head out to face Clay at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Orange Park will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
