Dadeville took a serious blow against Central of Coosa County on Friday, falling 51-24. Dadeville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-10.
Central of Coosa County found their leader in underclassman Queen Ballard, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. Ballard is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Myrakel Coleman, who scored 12 points.
Dadeville's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Central of Coosa County, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Dadeville will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Randolph County at 3:30 p.m. As for Central of Coosa County, they will head out on the road to face off against Fayetteville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fayetteville is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
