After three games on the road, Coronado is heading back home. They will take on the Arbor View Aggies at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
On Monday, Coronado faced the Blue Knights in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Coronado took a serious blow against the Blue Knights , falling 64-33.
Despite the loss, Coronado saw an underclassman step up: Ella Creer scored seven points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Gabrielle Brooks, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Arbor View's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Shadow Ridge at home by a decisive 60-41 margin. Arbor View has struggled against the Mustangs recently, as their matchup on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Coronado has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for Arbor View, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-12.
