Perry-Lecompton came out on top against Holton on Monday thanks in part to Kayden Baker's efforts. Baker got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. The performance marked the most runs he has had since back in April of 2025.

Baker's strong effort led Perry-Lecompton over Holton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Kaws are 8-2 against the Wildcats going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
