The Walkertown Wolfpack will be playing in front of their home fans against the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Walkertown's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games.

Given Walkertown's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while McMichael is ranked 427th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Walkertown's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Tyson, who scored 12 points along with four steals. Jaylen Wilkerson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, T.W. Andrews scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They snuck past Shining Light Academy with a 75-71 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Walkertown's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for T.W. Andrews, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Walkertown took a serious blow against T.W. Andrews in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 78-51. Can Walkertown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
