Highland Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendra Ibeh, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ibeh has scored all season. Anahi Nunez was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Highland Prep's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Phoenix Christian, they have fallen quite a ways from their 17-8 record last season and are now at 2-4.
