Highland Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendra Ibeh, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ibeh has scored all season. Anahi Nunez was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Highland Prep's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Phoenix Christian, they have fallen quite a ways from their 17-8 record last season and are now at 2-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland Prep is on the road again on Monday and play against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 11th. BASIS Phoenix's defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so Phoenix Christian's offense will have their work cut out for Phoenix Christian.
