The Jackson Preparatory & Early College Falcons waltzed into their game Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They skirted past Marshall Academy 53-51. That's another feather in the cap for Jackson Preparatory & Early College, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Royce Baltimore continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. Dwan Bradshaw was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Marshall Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Delray White, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Kyier Reid, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Jackson Preparatory & Early College's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Marshall Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson Preparatory & Early College will be home for the holidays to greet Will Carleton Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Will Carleton Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 496th, while Jackson Preparatory & Early College is ranked 247th). Marshall Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Factoryville Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
