The Garden Grove Argonauts''s five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They breezed by Katella at home to the tune of 42-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Garden Grove also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Garden Grove's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Pablo Reyes, who rushed for 145 yards on only 13 carries. Another player making a difference was Branden Roth, who threw for 32 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes.
Garden Grove's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Katella, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9.
Garden Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Katella also has no future games currently scheduled.
