With a playoff win on the line, Marist rose to the challenge on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Starr's Mill Panthers. Considering Marist have won 13 games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the eighth in a row for Marist, bringing their record up to 17-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 51 goals over those eight contests. As for Starr's Mill, they moved to 14-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Marist will challenge Cambridge on Thursday. Cambridge will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Marist surely won't give up without a fight. Starr's Mill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
