After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pensacola Catholic, the Rocky Bayou Christian Knights were happy to have found some success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 70-19 win over Snook Christian Academy at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Rocky Bayou Christian has managed all season.
Devin Hicks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring ten points along with seven assists and six steals. Another player making a difference was Calix McCune, who scored 11 points.
The win got Rocky Bayou Christian back to even at 10-10. As for Snook Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-16.
Rocky Bayou Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Laurel Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Laurel Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Rocky Bayou Christian likes a good challenge. As for Snook Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Meadowview Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. Meadowview Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
