Lamar extended the longest winning streak in Big 8 this week by beating Ash Grove, 72-0. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Lamar took down the Pirates 72-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Aurora's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Josh Fronabarger threw for 42 yards and Skylar Cahill had 36 yards receiving. On the ground William Blankenship contributed 112 yards.
The Houn Dawgs' dynamic duo of Fronabarger and Cahill proved to be unstoppable against Reeds Spring, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Blankenship provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Aurora bested the Wolves. Blankenship's key target this week was Cahill, who caught 4 passes for 36 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Carl Junction's Dustin Satterlee and Matt Magee have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Satterlee has thrown for 2,310 yards this season, while Magee has 60 catches for 942 yards. Braxton Graham from Seneca leads the league in rushing with 2,014 yards.

In 118 carries Satterlee has put up 941 yards this year.
Rick Scholten's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,033 from 6,005. The advance stemmed from a 29-20 victory over Reeds Spring last week.
