The Lake Belton Broncos will head out to challenge the East View Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Belton has given up an average of 34.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Lake Belton is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 49-38 win over Rouse on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Lake Belton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maverik Maddux led the charge by throwing for 347 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in one rushing score. Those 347 passing yards gave Maddux a new career-high. Davion Peters was Maddux's top target, picking up 157 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Meanwhile, East View didn't have too much trouble with Glenn on Friday as they won 31-17. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Lake Belton better keep an eye on Cormyc Guerrero. He was instrumental in East View's win, rushing for 40 yards and one score, while also throwing for 130 yards and one touchdown.
Special teams played a big role in the game for East View, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Guerrero, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
East View didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Lord Isokpunwu, Aquavious Marbury, and Jalani Culpepper picked up one apiece. Marbury has been hot, having also posted at least one defended passe the last five times he's played. East View got some further help from Tieson Ejiawoko: he picked up two sacks and made ten total tackles.
East View's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lake Belton, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Lake Belton came out on top in a nail-biter against East View in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 27-24. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Patriots' Ty Blair, who threw for 245 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 82 yards and one score.
