The Lutheran-Northeast Eagles were the 64-38 winner over the Twin River Titans when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Lutheran-Northeast fell 45-37 to Twin River on Tuesday. Lutheran-Northeast can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their three games.
Despite the loss, Lutheran-Northeast still got an impressive performance from Kendra Petersen, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kealy Ranslem, who scored 6 points.
Lutheran-Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Twin River, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutheran-Northeast will face off against Pender at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pender will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Twin River, they will head out on the road to face off against Tekamah-Herman on Saturday.
