Strathmore extended their home winning streak to four games  thanks to a huge performance from  Isaiah Colunga. The Spartans enjoyed a cozy  28-12 win over the Granite Hills Grizzlies on Friday for which the team can thank  Colunga, who rushed for 99 yards and one  score on only nine carries, and also threw for 35 yards and a pair of  TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Strathmore's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.
Strathmore's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Granite Hills,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at four games  and leaves them with a 5-3 record.
