Carolina Academy took down Coastal Christian Prep 78-42 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Bobcats made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 420 from 489. The improvement was the result of 78-42 victory over Coastal Christian Prep last week.
Greenwood Christian's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Noah Hinzman threw for 20 yards and Banks Hamilton had 13 yards receiving. On the ground Cade Abrams chipped in 177 yards. Abrams helped Greenwood Christian's passing attack out by catching one ball for seven yards.
King Academy's Alex Berry and Caleb Fulmer have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Berry has thrown for 1581 yards this season, while Fulmer, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 28 catches for 551 yards. Joseph Hubbard from the Hawks leads the league in rushing with 1582 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Carolina Academy and Wardlaw Academy. The Bobcats enters the game ranked first in the state, while the Patriots ranks fourth.
Carolina Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 78 points on J.W. Myers' team.
