The Tipton Cardinals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Otterville for the full four quarters, racking up a 82-54 victory at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-21.
It was another big night for Jackson Bailey, who scored 24 points along with four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Zach Moon, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Tipton pushed their record up to 15-7 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Otterville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Coincidentally, Tipton and Otterville will both be playing Smithton the next time they take the court. Tipton will host Smithton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Otterville will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
