Wells Posts Huge Game in  35-29  Loss
 Starting off the list is West Johnston's  Josiah Wells, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Wells rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 169 yards and a touchdown.
 Wells and West Johnston will be playing at home against South Johnston  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Wells will face off against  Tyler Williams, the Trojans' star signal caller. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Ny'gir Alston Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 Hunt was led to victory by  Ny'Gir Alston, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Alston picked up 90 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The  performance  also marked the most  rushing yards (19)  he has had since back in August. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
 Alston and Hunt will host Fike  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The last time  Alston took on the Demons, he picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Big Game from Maloy As East Wake Won 27-20
  Maurice Maloy was a major factor in East Wake's  victory over South Johnston on Friday. Maloy was unstoppable, throwing for 236 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
 The  win made it two in a row for East Wake and  bumps their season record up to 4-5. They and Smithfield-Selma are set to duel  on Friday.

Ricky Elliott and Co. Win Ninth in a Row
 C.B. Aycock picked up their ninth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Ricky Elliott. Elliott did his part (and then some), rushing for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 113  rushing yards.
 Elliott might have his next game, a home matchup with Southern Wayne, circled on his calendar. Elliott rushed for 232 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.5 yards per carry the last time he and the Saints duked it out  back in October of 2023.

Keyshawn Richardson Makes It Two for Hunt
 Another Hunt player making an appearance on this list is  Keyshawn Richardson. He rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown.
 On the season,  Richardson  has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 19.4 rushing yards per game.
