Green Level is on a nine-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Carrboro a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Green Level Gators will look to defend their home field against the Carrboro Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. Carrboro took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Green Level, who comes in off a win.
Green Level headed into their last game having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Panther Creek let them put that streak behind them. Green Level put the hurt on Panther Creek with a sharp 15-1 win on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Catamounts: they've now won five in a row.
Henry Geiser was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5. He has become a key player for Green Level: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-3 otherwise.

In other batting news, Luke Talley was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in doubles. Another player making a difference was Tommy Gingerich, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
Green Level always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Carrboro was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell 5-2 to Southern School of Energy and Sustainability.
Carrboro saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Trojanowski, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Trojanowski hit this season.
Green Level's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Carrboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
