Clarkston will take on West Valley at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Clarkston aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Clarkston, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They put the hurt on Orofino with a sharp 29-6 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 22-0.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, West Valley beat Eastmont 14-10 last Friday. The success made it back-to-back wins for West Valley.
Their wins bumped West Valley to 3-1 and Clarkston to 2-2. In Clarkston's win, junior Kaeden Frazier passed for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns and junior Tru Allen caught passes for 118 yards and 1 touchdown. We'll see if West Valley have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
