They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 59-49. For Escambia County, this counts as revenge for the 62-43 loss the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Escambia County was led to victory by Stephen Williams and Cleo Bolar jr.. Williams dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Bolar jr. scored 32 points along with five assists. Williams has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last ten times he's played. Jovaughnta Henderson was another key contributor, scoring four points along with ten rebounds.
Escambia County's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Baldwin County, their loss dropped their record down to 20-8.
