Carbondale scaled the state rankings by moving to 151 from 185 this week, the biggest jump in Lackawanna 3. The Chargers were able to move up by defeating Lackawanna Trail 28-18.
Carbondale added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Lions, 28-18. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Susquehanna's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Luke Brinton chipped in 72 yards.
Brinton provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Sabers beat Holy Cross.
Brinton was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 72 yards on 6 carries as Susquehanna bested the Crusaders. Austin Felter also contributed to the rushing game with 61 yards on the ground.
Lackawanna Trail's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lions feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Vic Mallory has thrown for 661 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Jonathon Zedar has 10 catches for 273 yards.
An important game coming up in Lackawanna 3 this week will be when Old Forge takes on Lackawanna Trail. At the moment, the Devils are in second, while Steve Jervis' team is in third.
