The Highland Rams are on the road again on Friday and play against the Meridian Warriors at 8:15 p.m. on November 10th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Highland walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 28-10 victory over Owyhee on Friday.
Jackson Riddle was his usual excellent self, rushing for 226 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. Riddle really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Meanwhile, Meridian faced Mountain View in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Meridian slipped by Mountain View 24-23 on Friday.
Highland's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Meridian, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Highland came up short against Meridian in their previous meeting back in September, falling 21-14. Can Highland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
