Leading Florala to victory were Christian Greasham and Rayshon Coleman. Greasham dropped a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds, while Coleman scored 29 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Coleman hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Dalton Jackson, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Brantley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Daylan Davis. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. Davis is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Jayden Parks was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with two steals.
Brantley struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Florala racked up 13 assists.
The victory makes it two in a row for Florala and bumps their season record up to 19-9. As for Brantley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season.
Florala does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brantley, they will head out on the road to take on McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. McIntosh is coming into the contest with five straight victories at home, meaning Brantley will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
