Cony is 6-1 against Gardiner since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Cony Rams will be playing at home against the Gardiner Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Gardiner took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Cony, who comes in off a win.
Cony had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against Falmouth by a score of 31-22.
Meanwhile, Gardiner came up short against Skowhegan on Friday and fell 22-14. It was the first time this season that Gardiner let down their fans at home.
Cony's victory on Friday bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Gardiner, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Cony strolled past Gardiner when the teams last played back in October of 2022 by a score of 27-12. Will Cony repeat their success, or does Gardiner have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
