While Oak Hills's win against St. Bonaventure wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Seraphs 16-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Junior Dennis threw for 89 yards on 14 of 22 attempts. Jewellz Parm was his top target, picking up 53 receiving yards. On the ground, Jaylen Gooden rushed for 73 yards.

Although St. Bonaventure took the loss, they still got scores from Tony Dargan and Jeremiah Barrios.

Oak Hills now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Bonaventure, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

After each having a week off, Oak Hills and Serrano will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Diamondbacks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last. As for St. Bonaventure, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Simi Valley at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Seraphs will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
