Volleyball Recap: Hazelwood West Wins Going Away Against STEAM Academy at Mccluer South Berkeley

Hazelwood West's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They blew past the STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley Bulldogs 3-0. The matchup marked the Wildcats' most dominant win of the season so far.

Hazelwood West walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-20, 25-18.

Piercen Millikan was the offensive standout of the contest as he had six aces and five digs. Those six aces gave him a new career-high. Austin Cramer also deserves some recognition as he served his first aces of the season.

Millikan wasn't the only good server: Hazelwood West was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Hazelwood West's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

Hazelwood West has already played their next game (against Clayton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
