The Ponderosa Mustangs are taking a road trip to  square off against the Legend Titans  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
Ponderosa came up short against  Mountain Vista on Thursday, falling  3-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.
 While Ponderosa was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mountain Vista's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13,  25-15.
Legend won the last time they faced Rock Canyon, and  Guy Gibbs did his part to make sure it happened again. The Titans came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of  3-1  on Thursday with plenty of help from  Gibbs, who  had 31  digs and two  assists. He has been hot for a while, having  posted ten or more  digs the last 11 times he's  played.
 Legend walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 18-25, 28-26,  25-21.
 Legend's victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 10-11. As for Ponderosa, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
 Ponderosa took their  win against Legend  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
