Ketchikan scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Thunder Mountain, 54-12. At the time, the Falcons were ranked 25th in the state, while the Kings were 31st.
Ketchikan took down Thunder Mountain 54-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Connor Hicks ran for 198 yards during the win.
The marquee game in Southeast this week will be the clash between Sitka and Juneau-Douglas. The Wolves enters the game ranked 24th in the state, while the Crimson Bears ranks fifth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Sitka takes on Juneau-Douglas. Beau Hedrick's team has allowed 2 points this season, while Rich Sjoroos' team has given up 46.
The Crimson Bears made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,250 from 3,747. The improvement came about via a 54-20 victory over North Pole last week.
