Norfolk Christian is 8-0 against Nandua since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Norfolk Christian Ambassadors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nandua Warriors at 4:00 p.m. Nandua took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Norfolk Christian, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Norfolk Christian didn't have too much trouble with Salem on the road as they won 43-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Norfolk Christian.
Norfolk Christian found their leader in underclassman Abuna Ruop, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellery Giddens, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Nandua couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Windsor on Friday, falling 71-38.
Their wins bumped Norfolk Christian to 2-0 and Salem to 2-1.
Everything came up roses for Norfolk Christian against Nandua in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 56-14 win. Will Norfolk Christian repeat their success, or does Nandua have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
