While Santa Gertrudis Academy put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Banquete. Santa Gertrudis Academy blew past Banquete 14-0. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Santa Gertrudis Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. Banquete dropped their record down to 3-17 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Santa Gertrudis Academy will take on Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Banquete, they will challenge San Diego at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Diego will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Banquete surely won't give up without a fight.
